To practice this sport isn't necessary learn special skills, if you want to get started, only you need a short learning curve.With just a couple of hours spent being coached by a professional instructor, in order that you will be ready to start with the fun.

Cross country skiing is a sport orientated for the whole family from the children to the grandparents, infants and toddlers can ride in a backpack or on a sled. If you can't leave your dog at home, don't worry because you can carry your dog with you, due to some centers welcome canines on designated dog trails.

  • Don't drink any kind of alcohol to get warm, because it can negatively effect your skiing performance and can be a contributing factor to hypothermia.

  • If ski touring, carry adequate spare clothing and food, compass, maps and matches.
