Extreme Skiing

Extreme Skiing is one of the extreme winter sports that more and more engross adventurous and fearless skiers. This sport is a style of downhill skiing in which the skier proves his skill in much more adverse condition than normal. Extreme Skiing generally involves steep slopes (usually is done in steep mountain slopes of more than 45 degrees ), large drops off of cliffs, steep slopes, in dangerous terrain or difficult aerial maneuvers pushes a skier to his physical limits; this sport is performed off-piste. Now many types of skiing could be considered extreme such as heli-skiing, out-of-bounds skiing, and even cross country skiing with a chain saw.

Extreme Skiing is considered one of the toughest extreme sports around, extreme skiers explain courage and firmness that are captured in photographs or artwork. Their amazing jumps and turns are often framed by beautiful views, from the blue sky to the soaring mountains.

There's nothing more splendid then an extreme skier catching big air, right off a steep, challenging jump. This skier's brio is captured in mid-air. Extreme skiing became popular as extreme sports, and now has its own World Championship as part of the Extreme Games.
