Services:
We have finally begun to get some decent overnight freezes, but the spring snowpack remains wet and loose beneath the surface crusts at lower elevations. Upper elevations still have a winter snowpack and do not appear to have any widespread weak layering, although some weak, shallow areas do exist in steep, rocky terrain. Most instabilities should be storm related and will tend to improve after a day or two. Backcountry travel continues to warrant ongoing stability evaluation.
