Hurricane Racing Camps
Hurricane Racing Team operates summer, fall and winter ski racing camps at locations in Oregon, Colorado and Michigan. Since 1985, Hurricane Racing Team has utilized the fundamental training methods of the U.S. Ski Team and the U.S. Ski Coaches Association to produce top level junior ski racers.

The founder of Hurricane Racing Team is Bob Vial, an International Certified Coach by the U.S. Ski Coaches Association with 40 years of ski racing experience. Bob began his skiing at Mt. Ripley located near Houghton in the Copper Country of Michigan's Upper Penisula. Mt. Ripley produced four national ski team members and three Olympians for the U.S. It was the legend of these skiers and the tutelage of Fred Lonsdorf that greatly influenced Bob's ski racing career. During his 20 years of ski racing, Bob competed in USSA, High School, NCAA and U.S. Mens Pro Tour.
