SkierCom
SkierCom is a unique method of ski teaching devised by Jeff Elwyn, utilizing high quality two-way radios. All skiers are equipped with radio and speaker/mikes attached to their jacket collars. The instructor has a radio with a voice activated head set and mike, permiting instruction be given anywhere regardless of the distances between skiers.
Services:
SkierCom permits the instructor to be in constant verbal contact with his skiers allowing corrections to be made while the skier is moving. SkierCom allows the skier to take remedial action immediately without having to stop for an evaluation. SkierCom permits the skier to be aware of an error or a correct movement the instant it occurs. The instructor is able to call attention to the focus of a demonstration at the exact time it occurs.
