Founded more than a quarter of a century ago by former U.S. Olympic cross country skier Olavi Hirvonen, this unique Finnish-flavored resort is situated on hundreds of carefully managed acres. Our attractive fall lodging rates are in effect September 4 - November 30. Rates begin at $40.00/night per person in our private tupas, housekeeping cottages and at $20.00/night per person for private rooms in our Lapin Tupa farmhouse (based on double occupancy). One of the Hirvonen family's favorite seasons, autumn in the splendid Adirondack Mountains offers daytime temperatures perfect for outdoor activities including boating, swimming, fishing, hiking and mountain biking. The nights are crisp and clear - lovely for sipping a glass of wine on your porch, cozying up in your tupa next to a toasty woodstove, and for spectacular star-gazing!
