Stratton Mountain School
Stratton Mountain School's three winter sports, Alpine Ski Racing, Snowboarding, and Cross Country Skiing, are the focus for our student athletes. Morning and afternoon dryland training in the fall prepare the athletes for the upcoming winter.

The school year calendar and daily schedules are designed to maximize training time and accommodate competition schedules, without sacrificing a well-balanced academic program. Competitive teams include soccer, lacrosse, and golf in addition to skiing and snowboarding. Residential life is enhanced by weekly evening workshops and field trips ranging from the performing arts to woodworking. Since the school's inception, almost every SMS graduate has continued on to a four year college or deferred to pursue a career in ski racing or snowboarding.
