The Northwest Mountain School
The Northwest Mountain School is a professional guide service organized to provide instruction for beginning and experienced climbers interested in mountaineering, rock climbing, expedition climbing, and ski mountaineering. Programs take place year round in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska.
Services:
Northwest Mountain School hires only guides with extensive guiding experience. Most of our guides work for other guide services in addition to the Northwest Mountain School. Many of our guides have been certified by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) and most have undertaken advanced training with the AMGA. All guides are required to have at least a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certifcation.
