American Avalanche Association
The AAA Level I and Level II Avalanche Course Guidelines are aimed at three-day, field-oriented courses. Three days are essential to cover the comprehensive guidelines provided. We have not designed one-day guidelines because we feel there is no way to effectively teach a one-day course. Class sizes may vary over a wide range for classroom sessions, but should maintain a low number of student.
