Welcome to powderpigs 2006-2007

Summer is suddenly drawing to a close and the steady flow of applications showing up in the Powderpig PO Box has not let up since we opened registration in April. Stirrings on the mountain in the last weeks foretell the energetic activity that will soon replace the peace and quiet of summertime wildlife and wildflower refuge at Summit Central. Townley was the first to shake up the serenity and now railings of the Pigpen are once again flawlessly shiny red and the front doors have been restored to their original pristine red conditions. More work parties are planned and the Instructor Training Program will be starting up just about a month from now. Although we all continue doing our summertime things and winter with its beautiful snow still seems a long way off. Don’t be fooled! It’s just around the corner.
